Individual & relationship counselling
Life can be a bumpy road, with forks along the way. Sometimes we just need a little support to help us through.
Nina Ramsay, offers thoughtful support for the things that feel difficult, confusing or simply ready for change.
Evidence-based counselling,
shaped by empathy, kindness and the
person in front of me.
MEET NINA
Counselling should feel like a real conversation
I’m Nina Ramsay, counsellor and founder of Open Mynd.
I believe good counselling can be thoughtful and professional while still feeling relaxed, personal and comfortable. I bring evidence-based training together with empathy, kindness, life experience and humour when it feels appropriate.
A PLACE TO START
There are plenty of reasons people come to counselling.
Some are easy to name. Others are harder to put into words.
You may be dealing with
Grief or loss
A major life change
Relationship or communication difficulties
Confidence or self-esteem
Separation or disconnection
Parenting or family pressures
The challenges of the teenage years
Or you may simply feel ready for something to change.
THE OPEN MYND APPROACH
No two people need exactly the same kind of support.
I draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and blend them depending on the person, what they’re experiencing and what feels most useful.
Support for different ages, relationships and seasons of life.
Adults
Support with anxiety, grief, life changes, overwhelm, self-esteem, relationships and the things that can build up over time.
Teens
A supportive place to work through confidence, identity, emotions, relationships, family or school pressures and the challenges of growing up.
Relationships
Counselling for couples and individuals experiencing conflict, communication difficulties, distance, separation or changes within a relationship.
